days of tumblr

If a tumblr falls in the forest, and no followers are there to reblog it, does it make a sound?

.

Mainly a collection of quotes and stuff I like, with occasional interludes of my bitterness 'n' straight-up mentally ill thots. No identifying details. You don't know me.

Hobo kin

I had some matters to attend to in Hoboken today.  My brain is a weird melange of unimportant movie factoids, so all I could think about was Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist (Michael Cera’s character comes from “Hoboken no jokin’”) and Julie & Julia.  I listened to the commentary on the J&J DVD and it turns out one part of the movie was filmed in the Hoboken train station.  Doesn’t it seem somehow wrong that Meryl Streep has been to Hoboken?  Before this summer I had never been there, and now I’ve been there three times, and each time I’ve only had business on River Street.  Does Hoboken even have an interior?  (It does.  I had 50 minutes to kill and found pizza two blocks in.)  River Street has a Melting Pot restaurant and a W hotel.  It’s a street to look at New York from.

Troubling me: the ticket machine reader barrier things at the Secaucus train station (Frank Lautenberg station) that wouldn’t read my ticket, and other confusing ticket events that result in NJ Transit people acting like I didn’t pay for my tickets.  I am very fragile and even when I know I paid, I get flustered.

Also troubling me:  The Situation was absent in the Michael Cera meets the Jersey Shore cast clips.  I don’t think he got the full experience.
