I got Love & Basketball from Netflix, because it’s one of those movies that I’ve always wanted to see but for whatever reason my silly mess never ended up seeing when it came out 10 years ago.  (I know “movies you always wanted to see” aught to be things like The Godfather, but that is just not how I operate.)  I enjoyed this film.  I enjoy Omar Epps (The Wood is f’amazing).  I was going through the DVD’s special features and came across this documentary on women and the glass ceiling, which features, among others, Geraldine Ferraro and the woman pictured above. Now, I strive to be charitable about not making fun of certain looks-related things when I feel bad for the person…but wow. Girl. Eyebrows!  Yeah, teeth, but eyebrows!!  Man.  I feel bad.
